Palm Sunday

Today is a special day for Christians, but I am not going to get into religious details now. I will let you read more about Palm Sunday here. Every day this is on a different date, but you always have Palm Sunday one week before Easter. I took a few pictures lately which I though would fit for this occasion. The one below is part of the gate entrance to a wooden church, located in a village museum in Golesti, close to Pitesti in Romania.

What I know people do this Sunday only in Romania (correct me if I'm wrong) is to celebrate those who have flower names. I don't know why, but I really love this tradition. It makes you smile when you see how man flowers surround you,...and they are your family or your friends. It gives just another impression that spring is here.



And because I am talking about spring,...people in Romania say that, the way Palm Sunday will turn out to be,...from the weather point of view, that's exactly how Easter will be. So I am happy because the Easter bunny will find us in a sunny Bucharest next week. Have a wonderful Palm Sunday!

    Ar fi putut sa merg acolo si eu..
    Si ultima poze eu stiu!
    Toate pozele sunt foarte frumoase.

    Buna Seuli. Doar prima poza e de langa Pitesti, celalalte 3 sunt de langa Bucuresti, iar ultimele 2 le-am facut cu tine :)
    Cu siguranta gasim alta data o ocazie sa mergem undeva, in afara Bucurestiului, impreuna. Multumesc de apreciere :) si mie imi plac pozele astea :)

    Inge frumos blog..acum locuiesti in germania parca,asa am vazut...Nu-i asa ca atunci cand esti plecata din tara parca ai vrea sa fii mai aproape de Romania si parca esti mai sensibila la traditii si tot ce tine de tara ta.Eu asa simt:)Mi-a atras atentia si faptul ca ai studiat la Monaco,poti sa-mi dai si mie mai multe detalii?Multumesc si o zi faina!Cu drag SoooFashionable.

    @SoooFashionable - multumesc de apreciere - nu mi-am updatat profilul, traiesc in Bucuresti acuma, si pozele sunt cat se poate de proaspete :) Legat de studii, trebuie sa-mi zici ce anume te-ar interesa :)

    M-ar interesa de ex Stiinta bunurilor si serviciilor de lux,cat costa cum se fac inscrierile,..etc..am intrat si eu pe site dar stii cum e alta scrie si altfel e practic..poti sa-mi scrii mai multe pe adresa mea de mail corina_anghiel@yahoo.it
